Hello Smart’s mission is to make real English education accessible to everyone. Going through year 12, we felt there was a lack of real, accessible VCE English content online. Additionally, we realised very few companies were able to provide the resources and tutoring experience needed to score a 50.

We run  VCE and pre-VCE English classes which:

• Give year 12 students the structure and resources they need to score as high as they desire (whether that be a 30+ or a 50)
  
• Set pre-VCE students up for an easy year 12
• Make the abstract parts of English digestible
• Are genuinely engaging to attend
• Make excellence visible

VCE English Tutor

Pay: starts at $50/hr plus performance bonuses.

• We believe in paying tutors for all hours worked, including training, marking, meetings, and further upskilling
  
• Performance bonuses are available for tutors who work efficiently and get great student reviews

You must be able to:

• Teach small-group high school English classes our set curriculum
  
• Give detailed feedback on student work every week
• Follow up with students every two weeks to ensure they are up to date
• Respond to occasional student questions

We're looking for tutors who:

• Scored 47+ before scaling in VCE English
  
• Achieved an ATAR of 99 or above
• Are obsessed with excellence and want to carve an interesting career
• Have a genuine interest in literature and teaching it
• Have 50+ hours experience tutoring English one-on-one
• Bonus: have 20+ hours experience tutoring in a group setting
